I attended the music concert of Sudha Raghunathan last week. I am sure it was not one of her best. But, I enjoyed it.I started early from my office but I was caught in traffic. It was home coming weekend of Badgers. It was interesting to see the elderly indian crowd walking along with the home coming party students on the university campus. I had to park my car half mile away and walk up and down the steepest parts of the campus area. Since it was free concert some of the students accidentally stumbled in, sat for few minutes and then ran away. Carnatic music is acquired taste. My guess is, most of the audience are there because they are enjoying the rhythm and melody, like me.
